Snake Rebecca Pitcher by Eric Canty

This modern Rebecca pitcher was created by Catawba Master Potter, Eric Canty. This one-of-a-kind pitcher has a beautifully formed snake wrapped around the entire piece, making it more original. The gorgeous shades of dark brown and tan that accent the piece are results of the traditional firing technique the Catawba tribe has used since before European contact.

Kolea and the King's Crown

Kolea, the beloved Pacific Golden Plover, once again reveals a little known fact of Hawaiian History. In this book, we learn the secret of the Royal Crowns of Hawaii that are preserved in Honolulu’s Iolani Palace. Although this story is based on historic accounts, Kolea takes some liberties where the facts are unknown. This beautifully illustrated book contains a strong message for any age, “An object’s true value is determined not by its rarity and brilliance, but by the contribution it makes to our lives.” ($16.95)
